Today I decide to check out the website www.scrapbooking.com, true I looked more for this article, but I also wanted to see what it had. As I look though it I was disappointed with the not only the layout but the contents. I had high hope on finding interesting tips. Instead I found hem trying to sell me lots of stuff.
The Layout is a magazine I know that's how hey planed it, but I hate it. With the internet you would think they have unlimited space for good articles, but instead they all short. Yes hey do have links to others pars of the book in them, but who want to jump around looking for ideas. Doing all this hoping around you may forget what you are looking for.
Like the real magazines this had a ton of ads and shopping pages. I know if I go on a scrapbooking site I'm looking for ideas not to but stuff. But if I wanted to buy stuff I would go a stores website than I knew. Although I think you should really shop in person. That way can see all your getting, and how ell they go together.
I understand buying from an independent consultant you buy from a magazine. In that case though the seller either has that stuff or has seen it and knows what it's like. Also you get try lots of the thing before you buy. Doing this you learn how to use the stuff. They also give you tips that most sites don't think of or wont.
Finding tips on this site is frustrating. They end up sending you o a blog or forum. Then you have to sort though all the entries to fid the one you want. Once you find it might just be a three line no help opinion post.
I found videos on this site showing how to make stuff. That's neat if your internet does video good. I know mine doesn't. Mine is always buffing, so it's annoying to watch. O watch them you need a fast internet and computer.
I like the websites that have taken the time to make the tips easy to find. This site I would only recommend to those who are more interested in buy and not in making so much new stuff. This is more for the high involved scrapbookers not for the part timers or newbie's. I would never send a person just starting out here.
