Lined with golden hues, or shining silver undertones, a scrapbook filled with memento's from your wedding is a beautiful thing. There's not a better way to store the treasures that you keep from the most romantic, special day of your life than that of a custom crafted scrapbook. One of the best things about scrap-booking is that there are few rules with which to restrict yourself. By simply following your heart, you can design your own memories, and make a trove of reminders left from your union of love. It will be better than the same old dull photo album that everyone else has filled with hundreds of eerily similar poses, while at the same time wowing your family and friends with your special talents. With the wealth of accessories that are available for your every scrap-booking needs, wedding themed trinkets are certainly no exception. As a matter of fact, the craft stores cater to wedding items.
~Wedding souvenirs.
Wonderful things can be made if you have extra, or even kept items from the actual wedding, honeymoon, reception, and the wedding party dinner. A menu from the restaurant that you dined at on the eve of the big day, accompanied with candid pictures of the folks in your wedding while at dinner. Perhaps you have one of the invitations that is left, and can paste that within the book, along with a photo of the newly married couple. Four years after my cousin's wedding, I still had many of these items in my possession, and used them terribly well. We had made roses for the tables (two Hershey kisses wrapped in red cellophane, with a the bride and groom's names, and wedding date emblazoned upon a small fancy tag that was attached), and I had a few of them. I discarded the candy, flattened the cellophane and formed it back into the rose shape, and placed it across a few wedding pictures, with fancy paper. It was beautiful, and simple, cost nothing, and astonished my cousin that I had retained the favors for so long.
~Pictures.
You can never have too many pictures. You do not have to use each photo that you actually have in your possession, but a good selection is great. This is because you may want to carry out a certain theme, and may have several pictures that will aid in that idea. Perhaps a page devoted to the bridesmaids, or one for the bridegrooms. Select the ones that you like the best, and print (or have printed) pictures of different shapes or sizes, so that you will have room for many, without taking up a great amount of space. Many
