What background do I use for these pictures?
Have you ever thought that as you sat looking through your pictures of the latest birthday party or wedding? An easy way to create a background is to use the pictures themselves.
If your pictures are on a digital format open them up in your photo editing software. Create a 12x12 canvas on which to work, or whatever size paper you usually use. Then place a picture from your event onto the canvas. Now enlarge the picture to whatever size looks good but not grainy. Then begin to adjust the settings.
Take the black and white setting for example. This turns your picture into a black and white image and from there you can adjust the levels. By making the image translucent it creates a velum feel to your paper. When you are finished and place it on your scrapbook page you double the event feel and yet keep your themes together.
Now print out the page at home or at a full service copy shop and you've just created your own background themes.
