You don't have to be an expert, you just have to know the sun sign of the person you are scrapbooking, and some of the elements that go with that sign. Before you know it, you will be creating scrapbooks pages that are memorable and fun.
Here is a list of the 12 signs of the zodiac, and the traits you can incorporate into your pages through colors and embellishments.
ARIES (March 21-April 19): This is the first sign of the zodiac, and ruled by Mars, so your Arian is likely to be competitive. You can incorporate awards, sports achievements and medals. The color for Aries is red, which makes a great cardstock background. Other embellishments you can use are flames (because Aries is a fiery sign), sparkling red sequins (for the red planet) and of course, the Ram, which is the symbol of Aries.
ARIES KEYWORDS: Energy, exercise, sport, achievement, impulsive, adventurous, pioneering, strong colors.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): This is a sign that loves the good things of life, so favorite gourmet food and wine labels can be incorporated into your designs. Your food loving Taurus may share a special recipe to journal, or a favorite vacation destination or restaurant. The colors for Taurus are pink and green, and, being an earth sign, Taurus offers lots of embellishments to choose from flowers, fruit, houses among them. Use luxury materials such as velvet cardstock and vellum. Your Taurus will appreciate it!

GEMINI (May 21-June 21): This is an air sign, which means Geminis love to talk! You should have no trouble getting comments from your subject for your journaling. The Mercurial nature of Gemini means you can create fun, eclectic layouts incorporating light, bright colors, jazzy layouts and cute embellishments. Try little die cut phones and taxis, or setting out your journaling like a telegram with `stop' between each sentence.
