The world of scrap booking, there are so many supplies but there are a few that are must haves. When I started scrap booking the first things I bought was a scissor set that enable me to cut many different edges. Another must have would be double sided tape that is acid free (make sure all glue supplies are acid free), next on my must have list would be many different papers of all shapes, sizes, colors, patterns and textures. I consider these few thing to be the starting point. Once I have a theme for a my page I move on to picking out paper cut out which can rang from fun and exciting to serious events like graduation and weddings. These inexpensive cut outs can give your page lots of color and dimension. To give your page a special touch think about drawing some of your own little graphics. Another piece of supplies I love are the velum rub-ons with catchy phrases, these are easy to use for beginners and are usually easy to find at any craft store. Another great to are I call them paper stampers, they look like little stamps or a tiny stapler but they cut paper into little shape like flowers and many other unique shapes. There are so many scrapbooking supplies out there to make a truly unique page you should take some time really think about themes for your pages and go look at all the many different cut-outs , markers, stickers, papers and there is just so much out there but the first thing to do is to pick a picture or two then a theme and go look at all the supplies to find what will really make that page pop!
